Heading home!

For anyone that isn't aware, today is my last day in Almaty... at least for this trip. I'm heading to Europe tonight for 3 weeks of vacation. Neal and I will be traveling in Italy, Croatia, Romania, and Germany. I return to Berkeley on July 2. Fear not, there will be more travel blog posts in the future. In addition to this Europe trip, I am also scheduled to spend 10 months in Azerbaijan and Belarus between September 2008 and June 2009 doing more dissertation fieldwork. No doubt there will be many more adventures to blog about. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to getting back to the first world and being back with friends and family!
